Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba

You may describe Okonomiyaki as a kind of "Japanese Pizza"...
Okonomiyaki is made of several kinds of vegetables, eggs, a little bit of meat and eventually also some seafood... all that stuff is grilled together and is eaten with sauce and mayonnaise... very tasty...

in a izakaya at Kyoto

Here we were with a bigger group of people in an izakaya at Kyoto...
On the top picture you can see the hours d'oeuvre... I have no clue, what it was, but I did not like it... On the next picture you can see fried chicken. The stuff in the soup is called oden, which actually is quite ok... on the last picture you can see tempura (fried vegetables and shrimps), which was very good.
